Carpenter Lake Nature Preserve (Southfield)

This area is truly amazing - it looks like a little bit of Colorado transported to Michigan! It is a small park with a walking trail but the main attraction is the large rock area. There are tons of rocks to climb over and walk around which makes it a great spot for young kids.

There is no fee to photograph and it closes at 8PM.
